Private Swimming Lessons

Safari Island offers one-on-one swimming lessons from our certified instructors.  Private lessons are the perfect place for anyone to receive the instruction they need, with each lesson being perfectly tailored to YOUR child's needs in order for them to excel in the water. We offer classes for any age or swimming ability/experience

Please note, availability may be limited for private lessons, but we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding!

Please fill out the form above and either email it to the Operations Coordinator rmathers@waconiamn.gov or drop it of at Safari Island Community Center, 1600 Community Drive, Waconia, MN.

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday:  5:30am-9:00pm

Saturday: 7:00am-6:00pm

Sunday:  8:00am-6:00pm

Holiday Closures:

 

New Years Day: 7am-9pm

Super Bowl Sunday: Close at 5pm

Easter Sunday: CLOSED

Memorial Day: OPEN 8am-12pm

July 4: CLOSED

Annual Closure:  August 10 - 12th.

Labor Day: OPEN 8:00am-12:00pm

Halloween - Close at 5:00pm

Thanksgiving: CLOSED

Christmas Eve: Close at 12:00pm

Christmas: CLOSED

New Years Eve: Close at 12pm

Lost &  Found

If you lose an item while in the facility, promptly check the Lost & Found to see if the item has been retrieved.  We hold all items found within the facility in Lost & Found for one week.  After one week, any unclaimed items will be donated to charity.  Safari Island Community Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
